Frequently Asked
Quick
answers.
The most common questions before opening a support ticket.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to
Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription from within
your ScriptAce dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Your scripts remain accessible on the Free plan (up to 3 scripts). If you need help locating the
cancellation option, email us at
billing@scriptace.app.
My scripts disappeared after logging in. What happened?
This usually happens when you sign in with a different account (e.g.,
Google vs. email). Log out, then try signing in with the other method. If you still can't find
your scripts, contact
support@scriptace.app with your
email address and the approximate date you last accessed your scripts — we can look up the
account.
Is my script content private? Can ScriptAce read it?
Yes, your script content is private. Scripts are stored in Firestore with
access controls that mean only you and collaborators you explicitly invite can view them.
ScriptAce staff do not access your script content except in response to a
support request you initiate (e.g., to diagnose a specific bug). We do not use your script
content for AI training. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
We offer a
7-day money-back guarantee on new paid
subscriptions. If you're within 7 days of your first payment on a plan, email
billing@scriptace.app with "Refund Request" in the
subject line and we'll process it within 2 business days. After 7 days, refunds are at our
discretion per our
Terms of Service.
The PDF export looks different from what I see in the editor. Why?
PDF export uses
jsPDF, which renders text slightly
differently from browser fonts. If you're seeing major layout issues (missing content, broken
characters), try these steps: (1) Save the script and reload the page before exporting. (2) Try
a different browser — Chrome usually produces the cleanest output. (3) If the issue persists,
use the browser's native print function (Ctrl/Cmd+P) as a fallback. Still broken? Send us the
script ID and a screenshot at
support@scriptace.app.
How do I invite collaborators to my script?
Open the script, then click the Share button in the
top-right of the editor. Search for collaborators by email address (they must have a ScriptAce
account). Assign a role — Viewer, Editor, or Admin — and click Save. Collaboration is available
on ACE and higher plans. On the Free plan, scripts can be shared via a public read-only link.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
Go to
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This initiates
account deletion — your account and scripts will be queued for removal. Data is fully purged
within 90 days. If you want to export your scripts before deletion, use the Export → JSON option
on each script. If you can't access Settings, email
privacy@scriptace.app and we'll handle it manually
within 30 days.
Does ScriptAce work offline?
ScriptAce is a cloud-based application and requires an active internet
connection to save scripts. If you lose connection mid-session, the editor will continue to
function but changes won't save until you're back online — the "Unsaved" indicator in the topbar
will alert you. We're exploring offline/PWA support for a future release.
